Why You Should Acquire a New Language Rather Than Learn It.

Just like in the US and in the UK, school systems in Africa have failed in teaching languages effectively. For instance, the French Language is the second official language in Nigeria and schools are mandated to expose their students to French language learning through memorisation and recitation.

Despite the many years of exposure to this rote system of learning and grammar drilling, students find it difficult to express themselves in the language. With the knowledge learnt, they cannot even walk into a French restaurant to order food or maintain basic conversations in the language.
